Hello all, I've been sitting on this month for a few weeks and im not sure if im missing something or just not doing this right at all…

My software tools are UFED4PC and IEF. Nothing else unfortunately.

This phone is password locked and no option to download mode apparently. I've tried both of my tools and come up with nothing to get pass the password or even get me the physical.

Am I not doing something right? I would think Cellebrite at least would get through but the device doesn't even come up under LG and even the generic way I still can't get anything.

You can unlock the device manually with AT Modem Commands.

You can create the physical dump through the locked screen.

TracFones are notorious on being locked down.

In my former former procedures when doing mobile phone extractions, if no lab equipment could not perform an extraction, notate it and proceed with photo documenting the phone as long as it was not password protected.

Look into Elcomsoft or XRY.
