I think there should only be one forum category, with one thread topic, containing all the posts so you can easily scroll through all the conversations in one browser page. You will have to hunt and peck through the posts to string them together but I am still an avid Netscape 4.0 user and the newer world wide web technology messes with the browser.
I am totally joking btw - I use the "Show posts since last visit" to view new posts. Works for me on because of my frequency on the site.
I'm sure if we work together we can all come up with a solution that involves a bbs and acoustic couplers.

This has the added bonus of eliminating college students asking us to do their assessments as their iphones wont fit in the coupler.

Seriously though, I'm liking the new General Discussion it seems (imho) more lively.
Is "Employment and Career Issues" overlap with "Education and Training"?
Not to my way of thinking, no.
Added To be more precise, I can see there's likely to be some degree of overlap but I think they're sufficiently distinct to be separate.
Just a final update on this.
I've given it a bit more thought and I'm happy to merge "Live and Network Forensics" with "General Discussion" as suggested. I've also merged the two software forums (commercial and open source/freeware) together into "Forensic Software".
I think all the changes we've made over the past couple of months have resulted in a much better forum structure than we had previously. A big thank you to everyone who provided their input.
