Hi,
Photorec in Linux can be used to carve out files from unallocated space but noticed there are 2 issues with this.
1) You can't choose unallocated space for HFS filesystem (Mac filesystem), thus it will go through the full disk which takes up alot of time.
2) After I updated to Photorec version 7, it can't choose unallocated filesystem for other filesystems too.
Is there other free linux tools available that can be used to carve out files from unallocated space?
Thanks!!

Hi,
Is there a tool that can see HFS+ filesystem used by Mac?
I am looking at a tool that can see unallocated space of HFS+ filesystem and subsequently carve out the files.
Apparently PhotoRec do not support HFS+
