Question -

I have a memory card that is telling me is corrupted when i try and open the files.

I have imaged using FTK the folder and can see parts of the pictures, i am getting file types called .CB2 and .J@G

The .J@G files are small and show small parts of the pictures, the .CB2 files are much larger (guessing full image size) but for the life of me i cant find a program to open them.

Tried Google and a few programs to absolutely no avail.

Any help would be met with great thanks )

Edit - Camera is a Canon.Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III

solved.

Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery worked a treat for me, the .cb2 files were renamed .CR2 files and then they were able to be recovered.

It could be a failure on the memory chip affecting one column

A P - @ is 0x70 to 0x40

An R - B is 0x52 to 0x42

ie the upper nibble is dropping bits (0x30) but lower nibble is OK

Do the file names look correct - or are they corrupted?
