Thanks for the link, interesting reading. Shame AccessData couldn't get FTK 2 out in time for the article. I'm beginning to think that maybe FTK 2 is a myth!
EnCase 6 gets a good review, which is a little surprising seeing how much instability there is in that version and that it can't to do what Guidance says it can do (i.e., index). Perhaps the tests were not that thorough?
If you note, they didn't seem all that impressed with v6. They can't really say anything bad about the tools because they'd probably have to publish an entire paper backing up the claims lest they get sued for libel.

I have read SC Mag for years and I cannot recall seeing Guidance as a regular advertiser.
