I am looking for a reliable, comprehensive LAPTOP CHARGER SET hat will fit most of the current laptops on the market. I should be able to set voltage & amps manually. Ideally this could covers tablets as well.
Do you have any recommendations ?

It is unusal to *need* to regulate Amps. ?
Usually it is the battery (please read as embedded controller in the battery) that decides how much Amps to draw from the power supply.
As long as it is a regulated power supply, you won't need to have a regulation for Amperes, AFAIK, JFYI

I suggest you get a power supply from an old tower and roll your own system.
I have two right now and plan to do just the same.
