Dear all computer forensic investigators, examiners, evidence collectors, evidence handlers and first respondents.

I am using this medium to request for your views, thoughts, opinions, praises and critcism on this computer forensic evidence collection model. The model can be found at the following website.

http//www.4shared.com/file/VngvagAz/Computer_Forensic_Evidence_Col.html

Once you have reviewed this model can you please answer this questionnaire at the following link http//atrial.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0upz2zYKv6QPacs. The questionnaire consists of 4 questions so it is quick and really short.

I appreciate your help
Many thanks

I don't see why.

If of any job area in the world this should be the one forum which a person should no have fears of downloading things like others do. I mean if you have any investigative skills you can check out the website it's coming from, you can check out the file extension, you can hit the file with a bunch of different AV, malware, etc. type scanners.

That is not taking into consideration starting up any proggs which track changes in the pc, registry, and other areas. Which a person with any idea it may be bad would fire up first.

In addition, if you look at the profile of the poster he has posted other questionnaires which members have answered and he has been a member 7 months and this isn't his 1st post.

A little over kill for just downloading what is supposed to be a presentation dont ya think? If every file was treated as you described it would take forever to get anything done. I don't see how having forensic credentials should give someone "no fear' when downloading something from an unknown provider. Even if the file has a valid file extension it doesn't mean that it is what it's supposed to be.

Actually there was no reply to this
http//www.forensicfocus.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6430
(which of course doesn't mean anything roll )

But not even a proper reply to this
http//www.forensicfocus.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6595
which comes from an Admin and more or less equates to "enough is enough"

Let's say that communication skills are not the most prominent trait of user ronaldo9. wink
