Hi, I’m Seffy. I need your help from who’s have background in Computer Forensic or any related with cyber security including your own experience to respond my statement.

The situation is my General Manager talk about forensic in our last meeting. She suddenly discussed about having computer forensic in our organization. I was assigned to review the suitability and readiness of computer forensic in my organization. So, can someone help me with this topic because I have no experience and skills in computer forensic. But, I already do some research on the benefits of having computer forensic. Therefore, I need to know how can computer forensic readiness be achieved by an organisations? Does it involve a high cost?

Thank you.

It is never free if that is what she is asking. You get the quality that you are willing to pay for.

I'm sure another first-time poster from Malaysia recently asked an almost identical question…

Are you another student trying to cheat on an exam paper?! roll

… only bolding here and there. roll

The cost for an organization to achieve forensic responsiveness, is typically the highest between US$ 100,000 and US$ 1,000 per seat.

Whether it represents "high" cost is up to debate, I know quite a few consultants that would define that "fair enough".
