There are toys on the market for christmas season which have a built-in WiFi feature. As criminals all the time look for opportunities to spy-out homes for brick-or-click theft we search for experiences around the globe of such toys.

Please post connected toys by URL and if you can experience or consumer reports.

Thank you in advance.

There is no end of these, basically each and every IoT device is (more or less) vulnerable), though I personally doubt that criminals (house burglars) are going to break into the devices.

They are very dangerous for remote control and IMHO a very serious privacy break, but useful/used for home burglary? ?

A past season example (cloudpets)

And - curiously enough - good advice by the Washington Post

Or, if all this vigilance sounds overwhelming, you could always send your kids outside to play.

wink
