more friends told me FTK2.0 is better than Encase6
So,I think I must learn it now …..-)

FTK 2.0 is not out yet - it is not even in beta. I saw some alpha versions last year and it does look very good. I expect it may be released some time within the next 6 months.
I have not tried EnCase 6.x yet although it does get a lot of criticism on messageboards - it seems that it was released before most of its features were properly tested.

You can get an FTK 1.X demo and try out most of the features. The FTK-Imager can't be beat.

I saw FTK 2.0 demo'd at the HTCIA conference in Nov. I really wasn't that impressed. I do love the FTK imager and PRTK, but FTK is just not as powerful IMO as EnCase.
