Just a thought. What about booting up using Kubuntu from CD (assuming the system has a CD and reads from CD on power on)?

Maybe I'm confused, but what will that accomplish?

Collect, reboot and blue-screen the machine.

But I was actually thinking about the Blue Screen or error screen. Any suggestions on creating this scenario?

If you want to go down that route, put NotMyFault from Sysinternals (http//www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/information/windowsinternals.mspx) on a USB stick and run it on the host. It loads a drive and provides you with a GUI for selecting one of a number of BSOD-inducing crashes.

God knows you can get the blue screen when you don't want it, now a question that has probably never been asked, "How do I make a blue screen on purpose?" hahah

Apart from when you are learning how to debug drivers 😉

Hope this helps,

Tom
