Hello,
Unfortunately Access data password recovery toolkit won't work at Uni. I have a few word and excel documents which are passworded using Microsoft Enhances RSA and AES. I also noticed it said AES 128. Whether that's a 128bit encryption key I'm not sure.
Does anyone know of any other software which will do the job? I think there's a few .rar archives which need cracking too.
Its for uni work so nothing illegal.
Thanks.
I used to use Passware when I worked as a University Sysadmin ($39)

It was amazing how many staff members would leave the department and forget to give us their password lists. roll
Or if you want something free, there's always Cain & Abel

Why wouldn't PRTK work? That seems odd…
I'll check out Cain & Abel seen as its free.
It says it can't connect to the PRTK server or something. FTK is install and working on the same computers.
Edit I don't think C & A covers cracking word.

Elcomsoft makes good products, in fact when I was in Beijing last year I met with one of their guys, very smart team.
Another option if you have a client willing to pay the one time free is Decryptum.

I've had success with their services in the past.
Good Luck!
Hiya, if you want to PM me I'll help you out. I've a supercomputer here which should sort them all pretty smartish.

Thanks for the replies. I got PRTK working today so it was probably just the dongle. I've left it running overnight.
