It is a well known fact that one of the common aims of cyber criminals is to acquire quick enormous financial gains unlawfully. A recent story published few months ago in one of the local newspapers in the Indian sub-continent is an eye opener to all and particularly a matter of concern to all those people who work towards saving the human race, flora, and fauna.
Technology has revolutionized the way we interact with each other, do business, etc., etc., but at the same time this very same technology in the hands of criminals is a weapon of mass destruction, endangering not only humans but animals as well today. Recently, cyber criminals hacked into the computer systems of wildlife officials responsible for monitoring the big cats in the Satpura-Bori tiger reserve in order to access data from tigers' GPS collars.
