Yes/No.

What do you mean "recover deleted"?
Undelete?
They should be 4bit WAVE files, according to FAQ
http//www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_support_faqs.asp?id=1175

It seems like *any* file recovery/undelete would do

Hi Jaclaz thanks for your answer. I will check soon links you gave me.
Actually I don't have in my hand the recorder. I am doing preliminary study. Someone recorded something, then transfered it to pc. Then deleted the files to record other. Someone said he ruined original files and so on.
Thanks

Just like on any storage device one thing is if data has been "deleted", another one is if data has been "overwritten" (or "wiped").
Quick table, what happened/what you can expect
contiguous data deleted -> 100% recovery
fragmented data deleted -> Who knows, depends on many factors, let's say maybe 50%
partially overwritten data -> Who knows, depends on many factors, let's say maybe 10%
completely overwritten data -> 0%
partially wiped date -> Who knows, depends on many factors, let's say maybe 10%
completely wiped data -> 0%
