Hello all,
I am trying to figure out how to use the vf option with dcfldd and split image files. It works fine if the image you are trying to verify is a single file but it does not seem to accept wildcards and therefore I can't use this option to verify split image files. Can anyone suggest a technique that would allow me to use it with split image files?
I can verify the image in a script by doing the following
cat image.dd.* | md5deep > verify.log
and then comparing verify.log to the hashlog output from dcfldd
Just trying to see if there is a better method using the vf option
Thanks ….
