After recovering data from a HD, there are thousands of media files. The problem is how to check whether they are corrupted or not.

Has anyone got a tool for this ?
I've found a couple for MP3 files, but not for MPEG's, WAV's, etc, etc, etc

I find Windows Explorer useful.

If you add display fields containing information relevant to the specific file (duration / bit rate etc) then chances are the corrupt files won't show this information.

Not entirely foolproof, but it does work to a point.

For a couple of files is ok, but for 40K, the system will probably freeze/crash
