I've started playing around with DFF (Digital Forensics Framework) 1.2.0 in order to widen my tool options a bit. But one thing I can't find anywhere in the documentation is how I can save my work after applying modules, for example after I have run the carving module on an image, get lots of interesting hits but don't have the time to go through them all in one run. Then I would like to save my work for the next day.

But I can't find how to do this. Just exiting DFF seems to mean I lose all the results.

It doesn't feel like a bug, and is a bit too obvious not to have been found by the developers, so I'm beginning to wonder if I'm misunderstanding what the tool is meant to do.

Anyone who have used DFF who can give me some advice on this?

Best Regards,

/J
