I conducted a successful forensic extraction of an Iphone 6 running IOS 9.2 (13C75) with Oxygen Forensic Passware Analyst. When I attempted to conduct a similar extraction using Device Seizure the software required the phone to be placed into DFU Mode.

I believe I was able to successfully place the device into DFU Mode based off of the instructions I researched and the response I received from I-Tunes, but Device Seizure was not able to find the phone through the USB input.

Has anyone had any success attempting a similar extraction? Any suggestions??

Did you try various posts/cables?

We have two Apple lightning cords supplied by our department for our regular Iphones for connection. I tried both of them with the same result…

Are there any other quality cords out there for the Iphone??

How do you know it is in DFU mode versus recovery mode?

Upon I-Tunes recognizing the device, the screen on the phone stayed blank instead of showing the USB cable pointing to the I-Tunes logo indicative of recovery mode.

The problem I'm having is that Device Seizure isn't finding the I-phone even though it's being recognized by I-tunes and is in this hibernation mode.
