Has anyone been tasked with recovering deleted voice mails left on a digital panasonic BEC 6.0 answering machine?

You have any idea how the memory is physically attached to the unit?

It all depends on the type of embedded flash memory and the memory controller. They you have to figure the file system and file structure. There are some NAND-based flash storage recovery tools from http//www.salvationdata.com/

I would call Panasonic and try to see if they will give you any technical specs about the memory. Or, you could purchase a similar unit on E-Bay and try to experiment.
