I am currently in my final year of University studying a BSc in Computer Forensics. For my dissertation I have decided to focus it around the digital triage forensic methodology.
This is my first post, but I am wondering if anyone can help me by advising the best places to obtain research papers on this topic, as I need a minimum of 20 papers to get my dissertation off the ground. I have a fair few already but if anyone could help me obtain more/better papers on the subject in hand it would be greatly appreciated.
Like…what do you mean by "digital triage forensic methodology"?
Something like this?

The only way I can describe this forensic methodology is through the below link which details one such paper I am looking for.
http//
I have also pasted a piece of the abstract of this paper below as to provide a quick explanation of what triage forensics is
"The Cyber Forensic Field Triage Process Model (CFFTPM) proposes an onsite or field approach for providing the identification, analysis and interpretation of digital evidence in a short time frame, without the requirement of having to take the system(s)/media back to the lab for an in-depth examination or acquiring a complete forensic image(s)."
Are you looking for papers as a literature survey?
To clarify are you looking to research triage techniques in the use of computer and digital investigations?
And would those techniques include forensics as part of the methodology?
A methodology is a methodology and can incorporate forensics as part of it.
I am looking for these papers as part of a full final year project at university. The said research papers would be the core component of my research, as it would be these papers that would be criticially analyzed to measure the validity of digital triage forensics against other methods of seizing and analyzing digital media from a crime scene.
The papers I am looking for are to fully analyse digital triage to see if it would be applicable to the police when their relavant computer forensics unit forensically analyzes digital media obtained from a crime scene.
I am looking for any paper that details triage techniques in computer and digital investigations, focusing almost entirely on forensics as the sole/majority component of the methodology.
On top of this, from what I have already read about this process model is that triaging of digital media can take place from the crime scene itself right through the whole process of analysis in the lab, as this methodology aims to remove the backlog of digital media that has yet to be analyzed from forensic labs.
Hope this helps clear up my question.
I need a minimum of 20 papers to get my dissertation off the ground.
Is this a requirement by your course ? To have identified 20 papers on the topic of triage ? Or can you open it up to papers regarding what you are comparing triage to ie.
other methods of seizing and analyzing digital media from a crime scene
?
It is a requirement, though I will be linking comparing papers, i.e. other digital forensic process models/methodologies.
Once again I already have a few papers relating to other methods that I can compare to triage.

I seriously doubt if it is at all possible to find twenty papers on digital triage.
