Has anyone tried this product? I thought there was a thread a long time ago about it, but it may have been on a different forum.
It doesn't MD5, but I wondered what people think about it in general.

p.s. I asked them why after marketing it as a forensic unit they don't have the MD5 capability, and they didn't respond.

I have this unit, and use it for what it is - a flexible cloning and wiping tool. The "forensic" option really turns the unit into a "write-blocker" unit similar to the Tableau UltraBlock-IDE.

What average speed do you get when cloning a drive (let's say a "standard" IDE 7200 RPM drive) ?
What about the "cloning 2 drives at once feature" ? How does it work ? Does it cut down the cloning speed by half ?
Thanks
I know my reply is 2 years late, but better late than never.
I have the DiskJockey Forensic unit and I like it. It does copying and wiping at 2GB/min. The difference between the Forensic and IT version are the ability of the forensic version to copy the HPA area and DCO of the HD when doing HD copying and its write blocking feature. I have used it for HD copying, disk wiping, and using it as a write blocker to examine HDs.
I wish I can get the new Disk Jockey Pro Forensic Edition.
