Disk with a k or Disc with a c?

I'm pretty sure i've been asked to 'analize' or 'forensicate' exhibits on printed requests once a year from the past 5 years. Whilst i endeavour to meet the customer requests, the first once sounds particularly painful….so don't go telling them its correct!
