I'm posting this because Symantec no longer supplies any relevant information about this important utility. I assume it is the same in Systemworks 2008 as well.
Note also Installation of Systemworks on a NTFS system may not show DISKEDIT.EXE as an installed or availabe file. This file is still in the package, and is located in the .cab file \NU\NU1.cab on CD1 on 2005 and later versions of Systemworks. It works only on FAT12/16/32-based file systems, and under DOS-based operating systems DOS to 6.22, DOS box in Windows 3x/9x/Me, but not in an XP window, I don't believe – corrections requested here if in error
