This was the first one I worked on - HMS Danae - for about six months

It was already old when I joined the unit in 1981. I didn't start in forensics for another twelve years though.

Hi,

The problem was Olivetti decided to go a slightly different way from the main PC players and died a death.

I can only boast going back as far as early 386 processors.

Olivetti actually fell inline with more standard pc design with the 286/386 machines, when they dropped the indigenous display controller architecture. Not really sure what happened to them after that as I stopped working on olivetti's.
