Greetings,

This may be the best value for your training dollars this year

http//www.dodcybercrime.com/10CC/index.asp

Four days of training plus the conference for $850.

I'll be there. If anyone else is going, drop me a line and we'll arrange a dinner….

Not a big fan of any conference which has LEO classes.

Paraben was a good conference.

Greetings,

Actually, the restrictions with the DOD classes are based on security clearances rather than LE status. Plenty of civilians have clearances. And, if you want to be one of them, it is a great place to mingle with people who are working in that sector and figure out if it is for you, and how to get there if it is.

There are a lot of good classes and sessions that aren't restricted. The Mac Forensics class supposedly will be an intensive version of what is normally a four day class. Since most classes seem to run about half speed for me, it may be quite suitable.

Depending on who else attends, you might get more out of hanging out in the bar at night than you do from the sessions during the day.

It is what you make of it.

There are classes which state LEO and there are classes which are FOUO.

I understand security clearances, but choose not to participate in any organization who offers any class for LEO.
