I'm wondering if anyone has used the DroboPro as a storage device for large-scale network acquisitions? If you have, can you give me some idea of how it worked out? Do you have any other storage device suggestions?

Based on the Reviews I have read, I'm not sure that Drobo would be fast enough for "large-scale network acquisitions". The BIG selling point of Drobo is data safety not speed.

I have not tested nor used a Drobo so I may be completely wrong!
