Hello everybody,

I am triying to prepare a bootable live windows CD contains a few forensic tools inside on it. (windows 7). I had live windows 7 cd and tried on it on a macbook pro to boot and take forensic image. But it fails because macbook pro does not recognize the cd and gives high beep sound.

There are so much info about efi, apple partion but I don't understand very well.

Can anybody help me preration this king of live bootable for efi based sytems and apple machines. Also live linux type of this kind of cd is ok.

Thanks.

USB might work better.

otherwise paladin boots into pretty much anything. does it need to be a windows 7 boot?

Take a look at Paladin v4. It's in beta and is only getting minor tweaks here and there before the final release. V3 and before were built on Linux. V4 is XFCE based but loaded with tons of functionality and tools.

+1 for Paladin.

Like davepawlak said v4 just came out but v3 should work well for you too.
