Hello,

I'm trying to identify if an email was sent with a BCC to a third party. I've checked the message header information but either don't understand it (and have missed the tag) or am not looking in the correct place. Any pointers (flame-free) are most appreciated to this noob.
thank you.

Hi

Are you looking at the sender's email or the recipient's email? If it is the recipient's I don't think there is a way to tell that the email was BCC-ed to someone. On the sender side you should be able to.

What email program? How are you viewing the headers?

Hi Art,

This is consistent in what I've found in my searching and testing. It is the recipient's email - using Microsoft Outlook. - 2007. I was only viewing the email header information from within the message properties (options) box.

Thx for the reply
