Hi have an iMac and all data in Encase6 or 7, but the email wasn't found from EnCase site! i will export the emails that the can read by a PC user….as PST or MSG, but with wich tool?? i also have an OLM file, but Emailchemy doesn't work….export 0 messages.
Nuix and FTK3 are quite good at managing email and can export to PST, EML or MSG
Thanks, but i can't buy this to software only for exporting this emails….we are a little company and have no many for 10 forensic software… cry
or this works with the free FTK software?
Greetings,
I'd go back to Emailchemy, then, and figure out why it did not work. It is generally a very reliable tool.

Good question….first i have OML file, after click ok 1 seconds and it ends with 0 messages exported and now error….only the test version. The same with the "XML" setting for the Office 2011 folder….
Greetings,
Have you contacted the vendor (http//

Yes, hours ago…no answer….
Greetings,
"hours ago" was the start of the business day in MI, where they are. I'd give them some time.
Given that you need to conserve your funds, I suspect they really might be your best option.
If the file is corrupted, which might be the cause of your problem, then a recovery tool might help. A quick Google search turned up this
http//
And it might be able to convert the OLM to a PST.

Outlook 2011 for Mac is a completely new product, and stores emails differently than Entourage did. They are no longer in one giant database. Attachments and email messages are stored as separate files. Messages are stored with an *.olk14Message extension. The .olm file is MUCH smaller than the total size of the mailbox/messages.
Emailchemy's page says they support for Outlook 11 on Mac, but I have not tested it.
You may need to open this with Outlook for Mac, and export the messages to an archive before you can process/search them.
Has anyone had luck with deadbox exams and extraction of Outlook 2011 data stores - cases where you don't have access to the machine to do a OLM export in Outlook 2011?
