Hi guys,

I'm new to the forums and very new to Jtag and Chip-Off Forensics. I'd like to ask for any guidance on how I can recover data (contacts, photos, and videos) from a full EMMC dump I retrieved from a liquid damaged Nexus 5. I got a full dump through a direct EMMC connection on the motherboard (Jtag is disabled) and it saved in a .bin format. The tool I used was the Z3X Easy Jtag. The Z3X developers recently released a forensic tool called "Android EMMC Explorer" but it often crashes and when it's working it only allows exporting files one-by-one. It is still in it's beta testing stage and recovering files one-by-one when I need to recover over 1000 pictures is just not practical.

From my very limited understanding is my best bet to use FTK Imager and then trying mounting the image as a virtual drive?

Is there a program similar to Android EMMC Explorer that allows easy viewing of the dump contents available for free or a trial period?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
