Hi there,
I am trying to find some way of accessing any information from the internal memory of a Nokia E72.
It has been declared unrepairable by a couple different cell phone repairers and I believe I am left only with the option of 'chip-off'.
Can someone suggest any alternatives or, a company who can conduct this work for me in the hope of them providing a physical dump.
Thanks in advance,
Robert

Hi Robert,
When you connect your phone to a PC while it is powered off, does the PC recognize a USB device? (does window try to locate a driver)
Cellebrite UFED does support the E72 with physical extraction.
It is possible that if your device is not completely dead that it will work with the UFED. This is because the method that we implemented the physical extraction is "taking control" on the phone before the Symbian OS is even starting to load.
I suggest that you check if your PC recognizes any USB device when you connect the phone while it is powered off.
Best regards,
Ron
