Facebook Chat fragments

I'm doing a quick blog on this subject right now…. and I've gathered up a ton of research… located the files on disk etc etc… but now what I need are guidelines for protecting a users privacy….

I'm in the process of making a small Windows VM to see if CCcleaner or simply clearing the history will help but I wondered if anyone had suggestions.
