I have a requirement for all of the messages and shared images and videos from a Facebook message thread to be downloaded and used in part of an investigation. (I have the relevant authority signed off)
I have used the standard Facebook download account function but this does not provide files transferred within the chat (Crucial to the investigation). I have also tried numerous Chrome extensions which are slightly temperamental when it comes to large chats, such as Messages Saver for Facebook™ v8.4.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can achieve a full download of all messages and files transferred within a particular message thread.
