Hi,

I notice that new update of facebook messenger for ios (iphone), now the text message is not in plaintext on the database, and seems encrypted as appears BLOB
Someone have any news or information on how to read them? password reference?
regards

Hi,

Unfortunately i don't have any answer to this question, but am quite interested in having a look. Do you have any test examples of this DB that you are able to send across?

Thanks,

jjh

Messages have been saved in Blobs for a little while yet. I have written a Forensic Browser extension (decoder) for them that integrates directly within the Browser and parses the data and present it in a decoded table so that you can create reports on it. This is a free extension for Forensic Toolkit for SQLite users.

More info at the link below

If anyone would like a fully functional demo of the Forenisc Toolkit for SQLite then please visit this page and request one (mention the extension in the comments if you would also like a copy of that)
