dear all,
Analyzing an hard disk, I found the folder acronis and inside threefile with tib as extension. What is? Is it possible to open?
thanks
It is the proprietary format for the back up files created by Acronis. Yes you could use Acronis to open the files

Generally speaking, you should be using file (under Linux)
https://
AND Trid (under Windows)
http//
to check the type of filesyou cannot easily identify/open/access.
A file extension may (or may not) be indicative of the actual nature of the file, and of course any of the mentioned utilities may (or may not) provide a valid answer.
Specifically, very likely those are Acronis True Image made disk images, it stands for True Image Binary

depending on specific version of the files, it may be possible to convert them with third party tools, otherwise you will need an appropriate version of the Acronis software (that can also convert to "plain" .vhd)

If you install Acronis (even with the free edition), you can right click on each .tib file and mount it (each one gets its own drive letter) - you can then proceed to 'image it' as with any other drive.
