I am looking for a file viewer or an app to open a quickbook file.
Ive downloaded the US trial version , but this version can´t open external files , second i have downloaded from AU the full version , but sill can´t open because the file is "non Australasian version".
Any hepl will be appreciated.

I too would love to find a forensically sound QB viewer. This is something I deal with all the time. We currently have 6 machines dedicated to various OSes and versions of QB files, however every patch of every version is different. It is almost impossible to load a QB file and not have QuickBooks report that it will "upgrade" the file.
Before we purchased all the old and new versions, we relied on a local accounting firm to open the files and then export all the accounts to MS Excel.
Pheraps if someone knows the file structure ?
I can view some text readable things with an hex heditor…
