Hey everyone … Im a first year forensic computing female student, i shall be starting my second year in September. we've been told to do some research on final year project ideas because leaving it last minute is just going to cause more stress and this can give me a year to prepare.
Im not the best programmer well actually i dislike it.. (one of my weaknesses) but i wouldnt mind to create an software that can retrive deleted text messages, contacts or images on a mobile phone (using a old mobile model maybe? and mobile phone kit) Or a APP? or a software that can retreive users cookies, removed history.
apologise if i dont make sense but i am very unsure. i know i have a whole year but i know that with the work load given in the second year i dont think i would have the time to prepare.
i want to do something that isnt too complex (not a great programmer) but something i would able to understand and could spend 300 hours on..
does anyone else have any other ideas that i could look in to the summer and maybe start on?
Thank you.
Have a look at rev skills and the dumps you can get using this tool.
You could then maybe write a tool which goes through the exported folders and re constructs original websites as seen on the handset perhaps. Rev skills supports a fair few cheap handset which would make it ideal for a student project
