I would like to include a process for looking for encrypted files into my general processing steps.
Does anyone know of a good enscript or process that I can use to do a basic search for these files?

Thanks!

Edited to say that unfortunately, I'm using EnCase 6.19 and I don't have access to EnCase 7 and passware. I do have FTK though.

Passware Encryption Analyzer

http//www.lostpassword.com/encryption-analyzer.htm

"Encryption Analyzer finds all password-protected or encrypted files on a PC. "

That's interesting software, but again, my bosses won't pay for anything. Is there any enscript that can look at the file system?

Or is FTK better suited?

Thanks!

Thank you for noting it was free. I would probably have to use the fee based one since I am not a home user.

Minime, I am LE if you have any suggestions. I'd love to hear them!

Thanks all.
