Hi,
I'm trying to find some good tools to help me find hidden software (spyware) on Blackberry mobile phones. So far I'm drawing a blank.
There's quite a few spyware applications for the blackberry, but how would I go about finding them?
I know there's an application called KISSES which runs on the phone looking for such applications (and lists all the processes too). Problem is KISSES has to be installed over the phone's mobile network and I can't let such phones onto the network!
Has anyone done any malware/spyware investigations on Blackberries? What tools did you use? Any pointers would be most appreciated.
Thanks
TJ.
You can install Kisses without using the mobile network.
You can use the command line (with javaloader) or with an application such as BBSAK. Or you could run the installer from a memory card, or using the desktop software.
Thanks for your post. I eventually found an OTA(over the air) downloader that allowed me to obtain the COD files, and then install on the BB.
Cheers
