Hi everyone, )

I undertook a forensic analysis into a Ford Sync Generation 1 module as part of my main group project into vehicle forensics for my Master's degree. I've linked my blog post below which contains my findings.

I'm not sure if the "General Discussion" forum is the right place for this type of post, if not I'll move it somewhere else.

Seemingly Sync 3 is QNX and not Windows CE (actually Windows Embedded for Automotive, renamed "Microsoft Auto") anymore

See here

and the actual user interface of the Wiindows on Fords was NOT the "normal" Windows CE, but rather Adobe ActionScript, this is probably why it seemed "alien"
