Hello - I using QCC case notes (from Blackthorn Technologies) and experiencing challenges with 64bit OS. Anyone using an alternative forensics case note program please let me know? Thank you
We use OneNote from Microsoft. The ability to create multiple pages and sections makes it extraordinarily easy to organize a case based on the piece of evidence and the various parts of the exam (internet history, image review, etc). You can even embed images and documents inside a note.
MS Word
I second keydet89. MS Word is quite powerful and most of the other alternatives don't have the flexibility that it gives you. Combine it with Adobe and they work well together.
Having said that, if paying Microsoft is not your desire then OpenOffice would be a good alternative…
Best of luck!
