Hello!
I would like to get in contact with people who recently bought forensic workstations from the company Forensic Computers.
Thanks!
Hi…
I am new here and if i getting satisfied with you…
I will give you contract of my company…
I guess it depends on how you define "recently". I bought one in 2006.
Just get a Mac Pro.
You can run Windows XP, Win 7, Server, Mac OS, Linux - everything - and without having to resort to any sort of bootcamp or third-party utilities.
And it's quick.
Get a PCI-e e-Sata card with port multipliers, and you can connect almost as many sata drives as you wish.
I generally detest anything manufactured by Apple, but my Mac Pro gets used (as a Windows machine, admittedly) more than any other recovery machine in the lab.
Greetings,
A couple hard learned lessons with Mac Pros.
1) If you buy a new one, make sure any cards you order for it are for "early 2009" Mac Pros. The Apple Store that sold me two new Mac Pros then sold me two Apple RAID cards for the earlier Mac Pros, which are completely incompatible.
2) Apple RAID cards don't support Bootcamp. Can't set up Bootcamp and, if you manage to beat it into submission, the Bootcamp OS will not see the RAID.
#1 bit me several times. I thought I'd learned the lesson and then the Apple Store did it to me again.

My company bought two systems from them in the last two years. What do you want to know?
I just wanted to know about your experience with them support, price, etc.
Kovar,
Thanks for you reply. We were considering Mac Pros as forensic workstations and the info you provided are very helpful.
No experience with support.
Opening the case showed that it was meticulously assembled.
Computer worked fine except for after about two years, the IDE write blocked drive bay quit working.
Another point to note, the firewire and USB ports on the front of the write-blocking bridge are NOT write-blocked (glad I verified this before I used them on suspect media).
I would purchase another from them.
