I have an upcoming assignment where I am required to visualize data and interpret it. I have tried using Parabens Link2 but I'm limited to using .DS files acquired through Parabens Device Seizure. The problem is, I will be receiving the data saved in different file extensions.

The question is…Does anyone have any other software they know that would be useful for this kind of work ?

Regards

Kim

Excel (and closely related programs) can be useful.

Splunk can be very useful, though you need to make a fairly heavy investment into learning how it works.

As one source of ideas, examples, tools, etc, try 'Applied Security Visualization' by Raffael Marty (Addison-Wesley, 2009).
Chapter 9 deals only with tools – that would be a good place to start.

@Athulin

Thank you for your quick response. I have just had a look at Chapter 9 of the book and you were right on the money…It is indeed a great place to start.
I had thought of using Excel as well as a last resort.
