Hi all,

One of the things I'd like to achieve this year is to make more in-depth information available to our members. I think the site is fairly strong in terms of community and high level resources but more detailed technical info, perhaps in the form of instructional documents or videos, is something I feel could be improved upon.

With that in mind I'd like to ask current practitioners which areas they would like to see covered. In fact, that question is probably more usefully broken down into two separate questions

1. What are the most common tasks you are asked to carry out (e.g. reconstructing user activity, recovering hidden or deleted data, analyzing attacks etc.)? If we can identify a (top 3? top 10?) list of the most common tasks hopefully this should ensure the information we put together is relevant to a broad audience.

2. What are the tasks which *need* more in depth coverage than is generally available elsewhere? This might be because they're particularly complex or related to new technologies, for example.

If you'd rather not disclose too many details of your typical case load here please feel free to PM me in confidence.

Jamie
