Does anyone know of a way to forensically wipe slack space from a hard drive, preferably by using a free resource? I use wipe.exe for hard drives and directories, but it doesn't have an option to wipe slack space. We had to clone a suspect hard drive to obtain work related materials. I deleted everything not pertinent to work from that hard drive and now wish to wipe the slack space. Any info is appreciated.
I'm pretty sure eraser does what you need and it's free.
