Out of Switzerland FF was this morning not reachable although protected by Cloudflare. Did anyone detect a DDoS att over AS13335 against 104.25.129.114?
FF wasn't reachable from Hungary either. Starting last evening from around 23pm GMT+1 I was facing timeouts loading the page. This morning the main page loaded showing an error connecting to the database.

It was actually a combination of a broken switch on our web host's network and an incorrectly configured failover switch which was supposed to handle the failure gracefully (but didn't). Apologies for the few hours downtime while it was getting sorted out - thankfully though it was on a Sunday night when a lot of people were watching the Superbowl!

I've reviewed what I assume is the forum topic you're referring to but I honestly have no idea what the issue is (or was - as part of the original post appears to have been edited). It's also not clear why a suggestion was made that another user removed a forum topic as they certainly don't have that capability (nor am I aware of that topic having been moderated). Should einstein9 wish to discuss things further they are very free to PM me directly but it sounds at this point like there's either been a network glitch and the post in question didn't make it to the forum or the problem is related to a discussion elswhere (i.e. not at Forensic Focus, or at least not in the forums).
