Hello,

I am working on Android Forensics and for that I have to use the same device for all experiments, the device's internal memory is 16 GB and hence the unallocated space is more than 6 GBs, I just want to erase all the data or fill up it with zeros or random numbers after one experiment. so that when I restore the mobile, and start working on another application, the new image of phone don't give me any previous data. in this way I can be assure of the evidence.

For this, I want any tool through which I will be able to do so. Or if you can tell any other method I will go for it too.

Your help in any regard is appreciated.

Cheers!

My guess, if you really need to zeroe the data, would be to flash TWRP on the device and from booted TWRP just use "dd" to zero the userdata (and cache if needed) partition, then format it like normal with TWRP so phone can boot fine. You can script it if needed.

Factory reset your device and you are done.

I want to format the UNALLOCATED space, userdata can be overwritten.

Well this will zero (the dd method on userdata) whole userdata partiton, including allocated and unallocated space on it. Not sure what device you're working on, but most likely userdata is around 12GB big in total. What's left will be the system, EFS, modem, bootloaders etc but there shouldn't be any more leftover data anymore.

Hi. You can try the adr (android data recovery) of "512bytes"

http//512byte.ua/articles/testirovanie-programmyi-adr512.html.
Quite powerful tool.
