Hi guys ive got a group coursework to do and im doing the investigation side of the coursework i wanted to find out where i can get FTK older version like 1.8 or summit I heard AccessData Dont support it anymore so its a Freeware software can someonehelp on where i can get it thanks.

… actually so it becomes an unsupported old version of a Commercial software.

you can get the demo version of 1.81

(The demo version of FTK is fully functional for a case containing 5000 files or less. This demo version, along with S-Tools, is all that is needed for the 2010 CSI Challenge.)

Just for the record, the above is second result after Access Data site on a google search for "FTK 1.8" (without quotes).

FTK 1.8 IMPORTANT NOTICE
The FTK 1.8 download will no longer be available beginning October 12, 2012. As of October 11, 2013 support for FTK 1.8 will no longer be available. Customers current on SMS are encouraged to upgrade to FTK 4 for free. Customers who have let their SMS expire should contact their sales representative to learn how they might make the move to FTK 4.

Please note, that while FTK 1.8 installs will continue to function indefinately, technical support will no longer be available after October 11, 2013, even if your SMS is current.
