I am a Investigator for the Coweta County Sheriff's Office in Newnan, GA
We are looking to by the FTK Mobile Phone which can be found here
FTK Mobile Examinor
My Major is wanting to speak with another agency who is using this before he will authorize the purchase. I have spoke with Dan O'Fallon with Accessdata and he has advised me that a new version is coming out in two to three months. If we order now we will get the upgrade for free but Major has been burned in the past so he is looking for a reference before buying this one.
I have explained to him that no one program does it all but this one will plug in to what we already use for forensics (FTK 3.0).
Is there anyone here that I can use as a reference for this program and my Major can call and talk to?

Thanks for any help you can give. I have already talked to accessdata and they are looking for me a reference also but I thought this may help speed things up by asking here.

I hope I’m not too late. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. There are so many other options for mobile phone forensic like Panaben, Oxygen, XRY, to name a few.
The sales pitch sounds great, the support sucks!!! Need I say more?
I step to the plate last year for MPE, and now use Paraden device seizure, and Oxygen Pro.

I agree with afpffi

It's a while since is aw the software, but it was using the Mobiledit!Forensic engine the last time i saw it which is very limited.

You would be safer using one of the tools afpffi suggested

Have to agree, if I had to list the options in order of preference, this would be way down towards the bottom.

Both the FTK and Encase Versions are pretty dire…

CelleBrite and XRY are my 2 prime choices. Then Paraben. I haven't tried Oxygen, but it seems fine.
