I have an S9+ which I need to bypass the lockscreen for which runs G965FXXU1ARB3. Android 8. FRP: ON OEM: ON. Cant enable usb debugging because of PIN.
Tried all sorts of tools. Oxygen seemed like a good shot but after writing the file the phone went into "CMDLINE parameter modified" bootloop. So it seems like that doenst work either. Restored it again to original state so still not able to bypass lockscreen.Â
I have been trying to get into this 5 year old phone for about a week now and I'm amazed that it is so difficult. Even when running android 8.
Is there anything else I can try? Any known exploits for these older android devices? Any known to work tools?
UFED should be able to both dump the decrypted userdata, as well as bruteforce the passcode if secure startup is enabled on this no problem.

As of Oxygen, you may get lucky by updating the phone to more recent Android 8 fw, or even Android 9, but it's a one-way trip. I remember when i was testing stuff that sometimes it did not work correctly depending on firmware on the phone.
